It certainly has done that. The heater now clicks in for very short periods of time and the house is so comfortable. The two added benefits were 1) my house is so much cleaner. My house got very dusty and within a week furniture was covered in dust. This has stopped. Amazing what a difference having sealed windows makes! And 2) I had no idea how much it would change the look of my house. The new large classy windows have modernised the look of the house unbelievably. My new huge sealed front door is amazing. Updates were provided to ensure that we know what is happening during installation. They took great care both inside and outside of our home. Very happy now enjoying the extra comfort from these brand new windows and also how well they look on our 1950s weatherboard house. In short, I would recommend Sorin and Windows for Life. When you spend considerable sum of money and not receive the product for three months, then you want to trust the other party. I am pleased that Sorin was the other party.I rang up Sorin to enquire about double glazed windows for my house, he explained options and pricing. I measured the windows and I provided these to Sorin. Based on the specifications and the measurements Sorin provided a quote.Next, Chris came out to take accurate measurements of the windows. At this stage, I was happy to continue and pay the deposit which I think was 40% of the final price. Next, a day is arranged for installing.A week before installation I received an email asking for another payment, I think 50%. This payment must be made before installation day. Chris and his team came and did the installation over two days. On both days, they came at 7 am and left around 11 am. They were respectful, diligent and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I very much recommend Sorin .Photos: one photo is the old window style, the rest are the new windows.Edit: typo

In our last house we went with another provider and considered them "just OK". This time round we checked out around a dozen providers by the time we settled on Windows for Life.Sorin and the team were in short, fantastic to work with. I can't fault any part of the process in what was a massive job (large bay windows, French doors, awkward access, multiple trades on site, you name it).From pre-sales and quotation through to completion, communication was excellent and no shortcuts were taken. A couple of minor items we found after install was complete, were handled with great after-sales support and weren't an issue at all to get looked at and fixed.During installation, anything that was found out of the ordinary was called out beforehand, options discussed and expectations honestly exceeded when it came to handling problems that were part of the building itself and not the windows.Would absolutely recommend them without hesitation to anybody looking to upgrade their windows to uPVC. After few months of quotes and research I can tell that windows for Life are the best company for product, price and installation. W4LIFE team came punctual at 7am and in less of 4 hours they removed and disposed my old six aluminium windows. Installed my new double glaze windows without damaging plaster and tiles. They were really efficient and clean. My wife and I are very happy with the final result and we definitely going to use W4LIFE again to finish the remaining windows and doors in the future. We looked at five window suppliers in Melbourne. Of those, we invited three to our home for a measure and quote, each of whom spent two hours reviewing our requirements, suggesting options and preparing their quotes. We were looking for a whole-of-house project.We chose Windows For Life because Sorin, co-founder of the business, was an excellent listener, very respectful and patient regarding our unique concerns. We followed up with a visit to the factory and had an additional two hours with Sorin.Our research had suggested that we should deal only with suppliers who were also the installers of the product. Windows For Life didn't meet this element, however, previous customers posted very satisfactory outcomes regarding the installation by the contractor team lead by Chris. When we asked Sorin about this he said Chris had been their installer of choice for quite a number of years and happily recommended them. We signed the contract and were content to wait out the six months period before installation.Chris and his team were fantastic. They were very respectful of us and our home while remaining thoroughly focused on the task. Over the four days Chris came to us on three occasions to explain some slight adjustments they needed to make and sought our views before proceeding.It's now more than a month since the work was completed. We are very pleased with the result, comfort-wise, and in particular the stunning aesthetical difference it has made to each room. We are very grateful to Sorin for his time, patience and professionalism and we thoroughly recommend Windows For Life to anyone looking to double-glaze their home.

We recently had all of our windows replaced by windows4life double glazed windows as our old ones were very thin, difficult to open/close and we were burning a lot of gas in the winter to keep our large house warm.A friend a few doors down had used them to replace his lounge and kitchen windows and was pleased with the results. We'd lived in the UK and experienced the joy of double-glazing, and I'd always wanted to get them installed but hadn't had the money.We dealt with Darren, who was very knowledgeable and arranged a measure and quote. We considered different options but went with plain white in the end, with tilt and turn windows and flyscreens.Extremely happy with the results. It took quite a while from the time of the quote to the install (like 3-4 months) but it was worth the wait. The windows all look great, they open and shut like a dream, and have rendered all of the freeway noise and barking dogs attenuated by about 10dB (a factor of ~10). It's like having Bose noise cancelling headphones on.Still summer and no warm days yet, so haven't been able to gauge the insulation qualities, but since both sound and heat are conducted in the same way I'm very optimistic.The window quality is very good, but you should be aware that the frames will need painting once windows4life is done. The flywire screens are easy to open and shut, and nicely taut.Overall a great experience I can thoroughly recommend.Matthew in North Balwyn - had 19 windows installed in just a shade over 3 days.

Great communication, gave me lots of time and insight into how the window industry works, when I asked for details.They double checked all the specifications really throughly with me and the builder.A small part of the framing cracked on installation and they came back and fixed it efficiently, letting me know how and why the problem occurred, timeframe to resolve - and it was fixed in that timeframe. With no muddle up internally - ie the installer had told head office.It was just one window for a backyard office, and they made me feel as important as if I was building a whole house.I will be coming back for a new backdoor and bathroom window in due course. We've just had all of the windows and external doors in our house replaced with double-glazed units from Windows 4 Life, and while we had to wait for 8 months from the time of ordering (thanks to COVID) we are absolutely delighted with the result. The new windows and doors have changed not only the look of our property, but also our thermal, light and auditory experience. Already we're noticing that the heating / cooling is more efficient, and that we don't hear many of external noises (like traffic) that annoyed us in the past. Some years ago, our good friends told my wife and I they were having a number of double glazed windows installed in their home to replace old, single glazed windows to help suppress loud road noise. At the time, I thought ok, very nice. Hope it works out for you. After they were installed, my first reaction was WOW!!! I was SUPER impressed. Such a solid, high quality frame & glass. Superbly installed as well. Suppressed road noise for our friends, better than expected. Fast forward to 2021 and 2022. We decided to change over our old single glazed windows in 3 rooms and timber laundry door/window for Windows 4 Life high quality frames & windows. One in particular had to be extra sound reducing due to external air conditioner compressor/fan unit within centimetres of the window. Together with a number of extremely high quality noise reducing building materials, the window (and room) work together to reduce the fan noise (when on high speed) to barely imperceptible. An AMAZING yet expected result. The other rooms did not require the same noise reducing treatment as we live in a quiet street, but still, the double glazing, frame and expert install have surpassed ALL our expectations. If you're considering new or upgraded windows & frames, I can highly recommend Sorin and his highly professional team to exceed your expectations. Windows 4 Life windows really are for life! Thanks very much Sorin, Darren, Joby and everyone at W4L for a terrific job.

I've used Windows For Life twice now, after having them installed in one house then later moving to a new place I really missed the comfort they provided (maintaining the quiet and warm or cool interior). So I went with them again and have had my expectations pleasantly surpased by the team. They finished them off well and made any adjustments I asked for. We've just had all of our windows and doors changed by Windows for Life to UPVC double glazing, 22 in total, and what a difference. The feel of the house has changed massively, no cold feeling in the air and no need to keep the blinds down all day anymore to keep the warmth in. The road noise level at the front of the house has reduced markedly so now we can sleep better whilst the rest of the house is almost silent. The extra security that the UPVC frames provide was also a major factor after we had a break in a couple of years ago. I defy them to break through the French doors in the same way they did the Aluminium bi-fold doors we previously had.We had shopped around for a while with other companies but only Windows for Life were professional and courteous. Sorin is polite, open and honest and his advice was excellent, even down to which dog door to buy.The installation team (Mike, Chris and Jason) were fast, finishing in 3 days, very professional and courteous. Answered any questions or concerns we had and left site at the end of each day clean and tidy (even if they did drink all our coffee and eat our bacon ;) )The finish is excellent and the quality of the product is outstanding, with a feeling of being strong and sturdy. Also the selection of options in both colour and openings allowed us to change the look of the house to how we wanted it.As for price? We had a budget in mind and Windows for Life came in under that budget by a significant margin.We've already recommended Windows for Life to a friend and won't hesitate to do so again.Great job, thank you.
